DREADNOUGHTS CAMPAIGN 2016

We played out 7 set semi-historical battles, based on the outcome of the previous battles. The side with the most Dreadnoughts by August 1916 would be the winner and controller of the Seas!

THE WINNER IS…..

THE CENTRAL POWERS!

With the smashing Victory at JUTLAND for the German High Seas Fleet the Allied logics across the English Channel was through into chaos. The French then collapsed at Verdun by the end of June, the Russian Navy’s July mutiny was successful and British had to decide to either reinforce the French in the Mediterranean and loss the North Sea or lose Malta.

In the end both the British and France sued for peace. Russia was all but out of the war at that point anyway with its Revolution building at home. Armistice was declared about the same time Woodrow Wilson was re-elected on an “Anti-War” platform in the United States.

Fleets as of August 1916
